Consistency... (let's talk about June & July Pt.2... FINALLY)

Hello friends! Couple of months have passed since the last blog post and the part 2 of my summer report never came out... until today...because it's never too late... right?

Summer is always a busy time because the kids are out of school, but this July I was working on making the music video for "I'm Fine" and getting ready for the launch of our company, so there were a lot of details that needed to be attended.

I'm Fine MV Shoot

"I'm Fine" is a song about believing that God is present in our messy days. It was written in a season that was incredibly difficult, messy and devastating. One day when I looked out the window, the sky was so clear and blue. Vast contrast to what my heart, and I thought, "there has to be more than what I'm seeing and feeling..." Our faith is not dictated by what we feel, but rather we let our faith dictate our feelings. So the concept for our MV was "When life throws you lemons", lemons being negative things in our lives and the sugar being the Word of God. I hope the MV inspires people to grab on the Word of God in times of difficulties, and encourage people to believe that everything will be alright because God is on the throne.

My good friend and brother Tweli G. helped me from the script to the shoot and did the edits. He found me on YouTube years ago and our friendship started from there. He is an artist himself and I recently made a song together. I would not be doing this kind of ministry if it wasn't for his generocity and heart for building God's kingdom here in Japan. I'm very grateful for all the people who helped out. We got to shoot at Kyo Bunkwan, a Christian bookstore in Ginza that dates back to 1885, so that was very special too. It was really special that I got to work with a lot of people in different facets of ministry. If you haven't please check out the video and share it!

The song is available on streaming platforms too.

Shooting for M Worship

At the end of the month, we did a shooting for M Worship Project.

M stands for Michtam which is a worship ministry in Japan that has been serving the Japanese churches for decades.

You can see their video on their YouTube Channel. It's a great place to learn Japanese worship songs that are sung in many churches here.

There were other recordings and works that I did that will be coming out later, so when they do I will share it here. Thank you for remembering Japan in your prayers and supporting Japanese worship ministries like ours. The more I continue to do ministry here the more I think support from outside of Japan is necessary. I appreciate all of your prayers and encouragement so very much. If you'd like to support our ministry financially you can give to the ministry through paypal from here.

Thank you so much for your heart for Japan. I will come back here to share more things soon!
